1 Milray St Lindfield

The project at 1 Milray St was an award-winning project in 2019 by winning the HIA NSW Townhouse / Villa of the Year. Designed for families whose standards – and expectations – are high, Emerson is a boutique collection of 16 three-storey bespoke townhouses. Nestled amid idyllic, leafy surrounds and mere moments from Lindfield Village on Sydney’s Upper North Shore, it provides discerning families with fuss free living and easy access to shops, transport, schools and more. Designed with comfort and functionality in mind, each townhouse offers a host of stylish, inviting features and inclusions. Each has a practical galley-style kitchen with stone benchtops and splashbacks, an open-plan living area with a seamless indoor-outdoor connection and lavish bathrooms tiled in marble for a luxury feel. The flooring in the living areas and bedrooms is engineered wideboard oak timber and for added detailing, the ceilings and skirting boards have a shadowline finish.

Every floor is bathed in light and has been designed to facilitate crossventilation. Importantly, the third floor has been designed as an adaptable, multiuse space that can be used as a master retreat, guest room, gym, theatre room, additional living space or home office depending on the occupants’ current and future needs. An important inclusion is a private lift in each townhouse that connects all levels, including the basement carpark. The lifts feature timber veneer walls and make access easy for residents, especially those of more mature years.
